God, I'd love for TNA to just use him for a weekly seg called "Flair Elbow Drops Inanimate Objects."

I watched Smackdown today with the old flat mates and I have to say I wasn't really impressed, the show was highly predictable and the only real good thing about it was CM Punk to be honest... I love his current angle, the guy is like Straight Edge Jesus!

Everything else was tacked on thick and it was just lame1

Batista looked like the gigantic version of Tiger Woods in his outfit, what did he just come back from the links and had no time to change into something at least character like?

The HBK/Rey match had potential but that was ruined... Triple H/Punk was ok but again ruined, the only decent matches were R-Trutch/Jericho and I hate to say because I hate the current IC Champ but McIntyre/Morrison was also a decent match...

The Taker bit at the end, was just so fucking lame, I saw it a mile coming and he looks so broken down. It looked like HBK and Rey were proping him up in that final bit opf the show, not the other way around... he has to retire or get the government to build him again like the 6 Million dollar man because the guy looked like shit tonight!

I'm calling it now (I hope it happens so I am not wrong) but Cena will win the Rumble again.... Orton and Batista will get the gold before Mania and we will get a Triple threat Unification Match at Mania and the one match that most fans want to see in Cena/Orton/Batista... so yeah there is my two cents on the subject of WWE right now, my stance is still the same, GET RID OF THE SPLIT or wait I will compromise, unify the main titles and the main rosters and make WWE a WWE/ECW split... there is just not enough guys on each roster to keep the divisions interesting in my opinion.....

Hell Yes!

I was so sure I knew exactly what was gonna' happen, but that one caught me by suprise. Granted I don't spend any time at all reading any wrestling news sites so maybe it wasn't a suprise to anyone else, but it was to me and I LOVED it.

William Shatner is an absolute legend.

That is all I have to say about tonight's show.

I have to say I think I enjoy Smackdown just as much or more than Raw right now.

I'm not sold on McIntyre right now, but I actually enjoy John Morrison. I think he's pretty entertaining in the ring and on the mic.

I've always been a Rey mark so his matches are always enjoyable for me.

And CM Punk is fantastic in my opinion. The character, his in ring skills, everything. When he came out and interrupted Edge & Jericho it was awesome.

I'm thinking Jericho wins the Elimination Chamber and we see Edge vs. Jericho at WrestleMania and Taker vs. HBK and it shall be AWESOME!

Pretty much agreed across the board Bill. Michael Hayes may be one racist fuck, but damn can he ever write a wrasslin' program.

And I agree on where Mania is headed. If we get all the matches I think we will (and I think we really will), this could be one faaaantastic Wrestlemania.

On a much more serious note:

Serena's present look really does it for me. Anyone with me on this?

Anyone?

At all?

She is seriously the first woman with a shaved head I have found attractive and I have no idea why, but it actually works for her.

She may actually look BETTER that way. And she wasn't half-bad before.

I think it's the fact that she now looks like she puts up a fight.

Anyone else watching Raw? Pretty damn good tonight.

Mind you, part of it is me trading fast food one-liners with Stoney over Facebook.

Some fairly big news came out of a WWE conference call today. First, the bad news. As in "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!":

http://www.lordsofpain.net/news/wwe/6378.html

But! That either leads to a silver lining (could end up REALLY cool) . . . or worse news:

http://www.lordsofpain.net/news/wwe/6377.html

And on a separate, really cool note:

http://www.lordsofpain.net/news/wwe/6379.html

Thoughts everyone?

To me, Survivor Series is not truly obsolete. It simply hasn't been given the sort of care it takes to make such a concept deliver. However, if WWE isn't going to give it that sort of care, they really should just end it.

As for a replacement? I would LOVE a new tourney event, especially if it were treated like King of the Ring used to be. Street Fights? Meh. Legends Event? Could go either way. Probably would be a mixed bag. I have serious doubts about a Money in the Bank event, BUT it could end up like a modified King of the Ring. Hard to call. A . . . Draft PPV? I don't quite follow what they even mean. 3 hours of announcements? Surely not. Please God, not Battle Bowl. Not under those specific rules, anyway. Roulette? It works for plain ol' TV, but I like firm announcements for PPVs. And WAR GAMES? Man, if done right, that could kick all kinds of ass.

As for the new TV channel? Given how they treat their DVDs and "Classics On Demand" (a.k.a. WWE 24/7), this is nothing but great news, in my opinion.

Wargames sounds cool but it is basically SS with a cage wrapped around it... oh and two rings too... taking away Survivor Series is a crap idea, they need to make it important again, the event hasn't felt the same in years... why not give it one last go and put everything you can into it before killing it off completely?
